Every year in April, we celebrate Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) by acknowledging victims and survivors during a 5K Walk/Run community activity at the AV College Stadium from 8am-11am. The 5K is hosted both in-person and virtually.
- Virtual participants will use the social media tag #healthyhart5k25). A photo memorial and is displayed throughout the track, including photos of both military and non-military victims and survivors of SA and MST (military sexual trauma).
Each registered participant will receive a 2025 medal, and the first 75 people will also receive a t-shirt. Water, fruit, and other post-race snacks will be provided free of charge to participants and on-site volunteers thanks to our sponsor Chronic Tacos Palmdale!
This is a family-friendly event, where the whole family is invited to do the 5K, then hang out and participate for the field activities such as relay & sack races.
This activity directly supports our mission to break the cycle of violence. Far too many are silenced, and we support by cultivating an affirming, safe and empowering event to showcase your strength while engaging the community.
Three Hart Connection's three-pillar believe is that the connection of mental wellbeing, physical fitness and advocacy are the pillars needed to transform the lives of survivors!
Tickets are $35 now but increase to $55 on the day of the event.
